My Background

Welcome to Elevate 208. I am Jennifer Caple, a licensed clinical social worker offering life coaching and counseling. I have 17 years of experience working with individuals of all genders, races and ages. I am certified in compassion fatigue, crucial conversations, critical incident stress management, EMDR and suicide prevention.


Varied experience gives me a unique perspective in helping those who have had challenging life circumstances. Grief, trauma, loss, abuse, conflict, relationship struggles, family challenges, work stress, anxiety, depression, sudden life changes and terminal or new medical diagnoses are just some of the issues I have experience in. I also enjoy working with individuals who just feel “stuck” and need support and guidance to find motivation and purpose to be happier and healthier.


My career has included working in a variety of settings. In the school setting I have helped educate children on ways to identify and better manage emotions and relationships. I have also worked closely with families in the hospice setting by helping patients make end of life decisions and live the best quality life with the time they have left. In the hospital setting I have worked in the emergency room to help patients who are in crisis, and on the inpatient floor helping patients get back home with the support and resources they need to succeed. Additionally, I sit on the board and continue to work closely with the local domestic violence program and am currently the Director of the local Community Crisis Response Team.

Life Coac​hing is a dynamic discipline designed to help motivate & inspire you to achieve more than you believe is possible. T​he focus is on an actions and results measuring your success with key performance indicators and specific behavioral outcomes and goals.


You will work with me as your coach to clarify goals and identify obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. I take your current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and am more action-based from that point onward.  I enable the you to then take control of your life and take action to steer toward your goals.


Offering solution focused counseling by

  • Recover from past traumas
  • Explore why past relationships (business or personal) have been destructive
  • Work through depression or anxiety that affect your ability to function at home or work
  • Survive a divorce or loss of a loved one

Therapy is also called counseling or psychotherapy.  It is a process in which you work with me to identify and resolve problematic beliefs, behaviors, relationship issues, feelings and sometimes physical responses. 


The idea behind therapy is to focus on past traumas and issues to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships and work through painful feelings. In this sense, therapy focuses on the past and on introspection and analysis, with the hope of resolving past issues and creating a happier, more stable future. I use a solution focused therapy approach.

Awareness is the first step in healing or changing.


I believe that you are the biggest part of the process. I also believe that if you come in willing to participate and engage in your therapy sessions, your results will be faster and more effective. When you invest in yourself and trust the process, you will see change. 


My passion comes from helping you discover what you want in life. I enjoy helping to identify solutions to improve your life which, in turn, improves your mental, physical and spiritual well-being. I strive to be open minded, non-judgmental and empathetic and to provide you with validation, compassion and hope.
